maybe it's a question of disk formatting (FAT32 and NTFS are the 2
differents formats) you can check by selecting the properties of the
hard drive C: at home and at school
there is linux live on a cd at http://www.knoppix.org/

Having some difficulty getting Linux to load on my 2000 Professional
machine. I have the same machine and OS at home that we are using in
our Linux class on campus. The installation works like a charm in the
classroom lab. Will not partition on my home machine. Get a "partition
failure" message each time I try. Any suggestions?
