[thelist] google and the studio stitches site MORE

Interestingly, at http://www.google.com/addurl.html it says:

"Please enter your full URL, including the http:// prefix. For example:
http://www.google.com/. "

So they seem to be suggesting that you should have the / at the end

Just an observation - I have no idea if it makes a difference to have / at
the end or not

Jane

not in the slightest, just observing we will generate yo the hits tothe
site by keeping giving its URL in list posts ;)

I think we are at the point where evidence supports stepping back for a few
days/weeks and waiting for catchup

Q: Does the local search you set up via google in some way REPLACE the
existing googling? If so have you given google the wrong
data to generate its search?

http://www.google.com/searchcode.html

did you set "YOUR DOMAIN NAME," as e.g., http://froogle.google.com/ rather
than http://froogle.google.com
as wouldn't that only allow access to the index page?

A thought....
