[thelist] Illustrator Layers Panel Has Disappeared?

I've got a gig and a half on this particular machine, running XP Pro,
rebooted and still had the problem.

Illustrator and Outlook were the only things running at the time.  When
I fire it up on my laptop with 512, no issues.
