hexmac used to provide the software to create the pfr files, but it appears
they're no longer running. a quick google search doesn't show any other
obvious options. check the truedoc.com site - they may have more info in
their faq.
.eot creations tools can be found on the microsoft page provided earlier.
the js reference above should read "you'll require some javascript code to
identify which browser the client is using and then to serve the
appropriate font format details depending on their set-up"
there's major problems getting this to work, including setting up MIME
types on the server, and it will only work on *some* browsers.
