I'm not totally sure I understand what you are asking.. But if you mean varibles such as lat= latitude_ lon= longitude_ The = sign denotes a varible for instance (latitude_ is the data embedded in the master database) and lat becomes the varible in this case lat=latitude_ Is that what you mean? -----Original Message----- From: Joshua Olson [mailto:joshua at waetech.com] Sent: Monday, March 15, 2004 2:03 PM To: thelist at lists.evolt.org Subject: RE: [thelist] determine radius of zips Will, Is that what you're actual code look like in FoxPro? What is the standard technique that you use for executing queries that incorporate variables that you've precalculated? Based on what I see from your post, I'm not at all sure I follow how the parser can differentiate between a variable and a column in the table. <><><><><><><><><><> Joshua Olson Web Application Engineer WAE Tech Inc. http://www.waetech.com/service_areas/ 706.210.0168 -- * * Please support the community that supports you. * * http://evolt.org/help_support_evolt/ For unsubscribe and other options, including the Tip Harvester and archives of thelist go to: http://lists.evolt.org Workers of the Web, evolt !
