sounds like a printer configuration issue... just as IE scales images 
when loaded into the browser (outside of a web page, and larger than 
the viewable area), i wouldn't be surprised if your print 
configuration offers this feature to prevent large images from 
spanning pages...

bring up the print preview and print dialog boxes, and start going 
through all the settings... i'd bet there is an extended set of 
features included with the printer (did you install printer software? 
if so, that's where they likely came from)...
