[thelist] Apache/PHP Config Error?

I went to update a virtual server on my apache installation. When I
restarted the server I get this error now:

Failed to apply changes :
Syntax error on line 255 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /etc/httpd/modules/mod_php.so into server:
/etc/httpd/modules/mod_php.so: cannot open shared object file: No such
file or directory

Seems fairly straightforward, but these settings were not changed since
the last restart. This is what is on those lines in httpd.conf

251: <IfDefine HAVE_PERL>
252: LoadModule perl_module modules/libperl.so
253: </IfDefine>
254: <IfDefine HAVE_PHP>
255: LoadModule php_module modules/mod_php.so
256: </IfDefine>

I looked in /etc/httpd/modules and there is no mod_php.so or libphp3.so.
But there is libphp4.so
Nothing has changed since I last updated. And I have and have had a
fully functional PHP installation.

Any clue to what has gone on and how I can fix it?
