Subject: [thelist] bayesian for MS Outlook

: While waiting for the ultimate solution :-) I would love to install a
: client side bayesian filter to my client, who uses MS Outlook. I know
: that changing to Thunderbird would bring many nice things to her, but
: for many reasons that's not an option for her. (And I know that many
: share the same situation.)
:
: So please, recommendations for a BMF for OL.

Outlook 2003 has built in junk filtering.

If they have Exchange, then Microsoft will be releasing a junk filter soon
based on their experience with enormous amount of spam they handle over at
hotmail.com. I was told that it will analyse over 2000 characteristics to
determine whether mail is spam or not.

Otherwise, SpamBayes is one of the more popular filters.

Cheers
Ken
