Hi Weem,

Sounds like you want to use an <input type=image> element in your HTML:

<!-- show the x-y coords if the image was clicked -->
x: <%=request.getParameter("myimage.x")%><br>
y: <%=request.getParameter("myimage.y")%><br>

<!-- present a form with a clickable image -->
<form action="test.jsp" method="post">
<input name="myimage" type="image" src="images/stop.gif">

The x-y coords get passed as form parameters called myimage.x and myimage.y,
following the name you give the image element. The snippet above uses
javascript syntax but they can be retrieved just as easily with any
server-side scripting language eg PHP, ASP, Perl, etc.
