[thelist] The Mozilla disappear-on-refresh gap

Hi all,

I run a hokey little weblog over at willidiots.com - it's just a place
for me to polish up my writing and get some experience playing with CSS
positioning and adapting to browser quirks. So the code is pretty
messy. I've spent the last few days getting consistency in display
across platforms and browsers, but I have one particular problem I
simply can't seem to solve. When first loading the page in Mozilla or
Firefox, a gap appears between the "Archives" header and the beginning
of the calendar. Refreshing the page makes this gap disappear, and it
seems to stay that way until I kill the cache - the damn weirdest
problem I've ever seen. I suspect it has something to do with the
table movabletype uses for its calendar, but I can't figure it out for
the life of me. Google says nothing except a single php forum, which
seems to be of little help.

Thanks for any help with this.

Adam
