That crazy bastard forces people to stay on topic (practical CSS
application, vs theory and flamewars)  for a list that exploded in
popularity and would otherwise be even more impossible to keep up with.

CSS-D is probably one of the highest volume lists with the lowest noise
ratio you'll ever be on.

Oh, and the admin is the CSS guru Eric Meyer, aka BOFH.
