These days there are only a handful of SE's worth submitting to so you 
may as well do it yourself. Don't be fooled by the "We submit to 
1,000's of SE's" marketing blurb. It's worthless.

The best way to get in the SE's these days is to build up quality links 
form good sites. Submit to a few directories as well like Yahoo and 
DMOZ and you should be fine.
