Hi Andrew,

I would recommend a search for "GD library tutorial" links. 

The GD Library is a very useful PHP tool for a number of things ... like 
dynamic bar charts, for example:

(The miminalist 'view source' info is kinda cute as well, the chart is 
created 'on the fly'.)
