Yes, I understand that point of view. Many are also fond of pointing out
the merits of responsible use of modern techniques which degrade
gracefully leaving the information intact. I think there's a certain
reason to that and the other ideas associated with abandoning techniques
like table-based layouts that illustrate more than enough reason to
embrace such action. It is a step forward. It _makes sense_ conceptually
and in action, and lo and behold, it's been shown that it _saves cents_
too. So, even if you don't get into idealism, there is a practical hook
as well.
Standing still just doesn't seem worth it.
