Would 404's count as requests, but not page requests? I'm not sure but it 
might be something else to consider. Can't you get the raw log files from 
the hosting provider and take a look?

I must say though, if your client is receiving 7 hits a day, there might be 
more constructive ways for her to be focusing her efforts on her website 
than looking at logfile stats.
