the head lemur:
I first thought your Hyper-"Greeking" neo-lorum ipsum text was comment spam.
Very funny, I even printed it out to keep. You've made me want to go back to
an article I hadn't finished on corporate-speak buzzword overkill syndrome.
I hate "legacy systems," "gateway," "leveraging," "strategic value,"
"mission critical," "enterprise," and many other choice hyperbolic
hypocorisms.
Usually buzzwords are used when the company has no imagination, no
independent thinking, no proficiency in what they're allegedly doing. I know
that companies throw buzzwords into copy to make it look like they're really
at the forefront, bleeding edge, curling iron tipped hot mucho gonzo makers
and shakers. :^]
