You are correct. I guess what I'm saying is that a *few* users *seem* to 
be this way (although most users seem to have no problem with the CMS I 
am referring to). I've tried and tried to figure out a way to make my 
CMS login process as simple and straightforward as possible for all 
users, but I just don't have any other ideas. (At least not any that 
won't overly complicate the login process for actual content managers, 
who are the primary users of the CMS.)

I've thought of skipping the login and automatically "logging in" all 
users as guests, so that content managers could then log in to access 
restricted functionality. But I know if I do this, several content 
managers will not bother to log in and then I will get emails asking why 
the content they submit now requires approval - it's a catch-22.

I'd love to hear any suggestions on how to make this easier for all of 
the site's users. I think this was the original intent of the thread, 
after all :) Just telling me that my site is "unusable" is really not 
helpful.
