I can't recommend any specific product, but for the most bang from your
buck I'd probably go with an internal TV capture card. I'm not speaking
from experience, but it seems that the throughput and the quality would
be a lot better with an internal device than with something external,
especially something USB.

Of course, even I didn't follow that advice. Instead I bought a digital
camcorder with analog inputs. That way everything I record going forward
will be digital, but I can also plug an analog source into the camcorder
and use it as a capture device that way. That might be a little
expensive for your situation, though (I paid $330 US). I think a good
capture card can be found for the same price as a Dazzle.
