Do you have any sort of domain login script that runs when you sign in?  Check Tools->Internet Options->Connections->LAN Settings and see if any "detect configuration" boxes are checked.

FWIW,

Peter

I use MSIE 6.0 on Win 2K. I recently built a new machine and on this machine
each time I log into Windows, it seems that the Disable Script Debugging box
is checked off in IE's Advanced Options. I UNcheck it each day but the next
day it's checked again.

I ran Ad-Aware just now and it DID find 93 'critical objects,' but they were
all either cookies or registry settings which I don't THINK could be
checking this box in IE. Maybe I'm wrong.

Anyone have any ideas about this?

Thanks,
Hershel
