No... I've seen this used many times in the weirdest places. In a way, it
can hide the server type (hidden .php, .asp, etc.), but then again there's
always NetCraft.com 

But you hit on my other concern, there are many "default" type pages for any
given folder. Just so long as you have the correct default page and it's
configured correctly.
