Your tone is not necessary. Not everyone has equal skill with
JavaScript (or anything, for that matter). Additionally, anyone who
programs knows that it's often easier for a second set of eyes to find
a mistake like this than the original author who is 'too deep' into
her own code. This list exists for questions just like Tom asked.
