Tomcat 5.5 (currently at 5.5.8) is built on Java 1.5 (J2SE 5.0);
however, the built-in JSP compiler is based on Eclipse's, so while
you can use Java 1.5 features like generics in servlets, don't try
to use them in JSP scriptlets.
