I can't speak to the stability or effectiveness of these (though
I have used rslite a good bit), but it's certainly quite possible.

I think the point is that they want only specific parts of their page to
be loaded when user selects a link. On a page containing a div, the only
want to reload only the div is via httprequest + dom_or_innerhtml. And
since they are targeting older browsers, this is obviously out of the
question.
