I've been trying to wade through their FAQs for this client, looking for
info on the registar-lock. (That's the term the whois data uses, anyway.)
The mumbo-jumbo they spew out regarding changing registrars is almost funny.

Do I Need To Transfer My Domain Name Registration

No, you do not need to transfer your domain name registration.

Some Internet Service Providers (ISP) or hosting companies may tell you that
you have to transfer registrars in order to change the DNS information and
utilize their services. This is not true - you can retain Network Solutions
as your registrar while using domain name servers from any hosting or ISP
company.
-----
The three most frequent types of transfers are:

- Transferring your Network Solutions registered domain name to another
provider's Domain Name Server (DNS)
- Transferring your domain name registration within Network Solutions
- Transferring your domain name registration to Network Solutions
-----

I can't find info on how to transfer away from NetSol, big surprise. I love
that the list of types of transfers. Again, almost funny.

The client has been on the phone with them a few times, and is very
frustrated with his inability to get them to give him proper assistance.
