No one is saying that Anthony. Please don't misrepresent the argument.

The argument is that it's only worth catering to certain types of browsers if
there are good business (or legal, or ethical, or ...) reasons for doing so.

Businesses have shareholders. Shareholders don't give money to business to
watch it being thrown down the drain on projects that don't have sufficient
ROI. There are plenty of other places they can invest it instead.

No one is arguing that sites shouldn't be accessible. Or that they shouldn't
support minority browsers.
