Hi Maisha,

All the computers in Japan used an alphabet based entry system which can be
switched back and forth between roman characters and Japanese characters
with a single key press, so tying in an roman character URL is no problem
for someone in Japan.

Besides, they are used to 99% of the url's they visit to be in roman
characters.

Subject: [thelist] Domain name in japan

Just curious - if someone in Japan using a keyboard with a Japanese
character alphabet wants to visit a web site with a domain name in our
alphabet, how does s/he do this?

Maisha
