the site referenced in my original post (chop the JS path) has a
problem in IE in that it seems to take 2 or more seconds longer for
the page to render as a result of the script -- whether it's
attachEvent or the code within...
can you tell me how snappy the page renders for you in IE vs. FF?
is attachEvent inherently a resource hog?
