Subject: [thelist] custom input button and safari

when I put in code for a customized button such as

<input src="images/buttons/submit_btn.gif" alt="Submit" type="image"
name="submit" value="submit" class="submit_button" />

the button still looks like the default in safari, and not my customized
submit button, but works in other browsers. Is there a way around this
or is it just a safari thing that I have to deal with?
