Sounds like a plausible solution.
Christian's solution is equally good as well.

As I said currently it is not a big deal for me and my lovely pirate has
stopped pirating me after I send my warning mail. Either he is a good
pirate, or he was unaware of what he is doing is leeching at all.

I wish I will not need to use those techniques. But it's a good idea having
them in my arsenal should something bad happens.

Bandwidth is not cheap nowadays :)
