I cannot attest to the validity of any of these, but what you are looking
for is a "swf decompiler".


Start there.

Other than that, unless his .swf files are protected from import you should
be able to pull the assets by importing them.

Beyond that, if you have not attempted to undelete his files on his machine,
perhaps that would be an option?
