I looked at name once, and it was suppose to expire in a couple of
days. When I tried to buy it a couple of days later, it had been
purchased by a another company. It was for sale for 1000.

You then receive an email asking you if you want to purchase the name from them. This fortunately did not happen to me, but is happening to a lot of people. Might be a good thing to check out if you are looking to find a name for a site or your name expires soon. Its amazing how deep this scam really gets.
