If you dare to ask me for a phone number to sign up for a product and
then call me immediately you lost all credibility in my eyes, as you
didn't quite get that the idea of ecommerce:

- I get something cheaper than in the highstreet
- I get something I cannot get in the highstreet
- I don't have to be known to you personally to buy it (great example
for a clever niche ecommerce shop:http://www.blushingbuyer.co.uk/)
- I don't have to listen to your sales blabla and only buy what I want
- not what might compliment it

Where you should be very receptive and happy to talk to me is

- when there is a problem
- when I can save even more

And if you _really_ think that people implementing ecommerce sites
(and that is not a cafepress shop) are the ones that have to deal with
customer care then you are the joking one.
