This is fantastic! By web-smart, I presume these are colours that are 
treated with less 'ambiguity' by various screens?

I've always had a problem with browns, myself. Things that are near-grey 
on my shiny bright Mac OSX always end up garish and nauseating on PCs 
for some reason, but generally I find colour disparity not to be a 
significant cause for style revision.

Is there an innate logic behind these workings or is it all based on 
testing?
