I've gotten the video imported (and sorted out the audio/video sync failure) but I'm curious how you came up with that thought - what I started with was a pretty crisp, clear video with excellent audio, and the end result, even compressed quite a bit, is quite satisfying.

So, learn me somethin', if you don't mind.
