understood; I mean, I understand what you're saying, but not how you're doing the math. because, I'm mostly clueless. I'm wild-guessing 13MB divided by 24bit video leaving out the audio gave you the +/-350kbps - am I even close?

thanks for the tutorial here; I should probably do some research if I'm gonna end up in AV-edit-land.
