FWIW, I provide only ZIP archives and have never received a single
complaint.  SIT files were interesting before Apple built ZIP support into
the OS many years ago.

Since all formats result in the exact same bits when de-archived, supporting
anything other than the lingua franca falls into the "religious" category
for me.
