The word came in that the client wants a survey to popup when someone
is *leaving* the site.

I explained that, besides hating popups, I don't see any way to know
when someone is leaving the site.  Any suggestions for a more
appropriate and unobtrusive way to force, eh, offer someone a survey?

My suggestion was a simple but obvious link on each page of the site.
