IE inappropriately sees whitespace as content.

Get rid of the breaks between the ends of nested elements, e.g.:


should be


or </li></ul> and so forth.

This is about as common as the box-model bug, but harder to track  
down if you don't already know about it -- since you don't know what  
to search for  :)
