Isn't this similar to saying 'Aliens exist because no one can prove they don't'... :)

Ah, so it's easier to get straight into using higher-level constructs using CF? That would definitely yield a benefit. It does take a while to realise the benefits of using frameworks or higher-level constructs rather than continually churning out low-level code. If CF encourages this from the get-go then that is a much more compelling reason to consider it for a server-side solution.
