[thelist] Stretched background + centered image

Hello,

In my quest of nice liquid layouts, I have come across this problem:
I have a <div> with a background image I want to stretch. This being
not possible, the background is put in an <img> tag inside the div,
with absolute positioning and z-index. Then I want the content of that
div to be centered. Problem: the content is put just right of the
horizontal center.
