[thelist] Newsletter Application

Can anyone suggest a free newsletter application?  I have a newsletter
I need to send out to about 5000+ people (all opt-in...yes, it's 100%
legit :) )

I just need something that can send atleast plain text (pref rich text
though), has a way for users to unsubscribe from the newsletter, and
can be backended by a text document &/or a database (I have mysql &
mssql & msaccess available to me).

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
