You do not have to open a PayPal account to pay online if the website has
set up a Paypal merchant acct. I did a website for a non-profit that was
raising some money on the website, and we used Paypal. The donor clicked on
a link on our ssite that took them to a Paypal page where they had to just
fill out their credit card info.

Is it not true to say that Paypal has a £500 lifetime limit on paying using
credit cards without having a Paypal account? In my experience people don't
really want to open accounts they didn't specifically request, they just
want to pay with their credit card. Having to open a Paypal account has them
leaving, so an alternative is always necessary.

Or am I wrong?
