Hi,

Yes, the client wants to file emails away online so they can access from
anywhere.   I suggested gmail.  Any thoughts?  Seems better to me than
archiving etc.

Horde is, IIRC, a web based IMAP client, so this sounds like a job  
for some form of off-line IMAP proxy, or HTTPS fetch of whatever  
format the IMAP server stores the mail in (probably standard UNIX  
Maildir format so you'd want to make tarballs / zip archives from it  
first).

It really depends what the end objective is. Presumably your client  
wants to do something with the mail once they have a local copy.
