Hi Matthias, Haven't used PDO, but have successfully used freeTDS to get PHP talking to SQL Server on a different machine on the network. http://www.freetds.org/ No need to recompile PHP (from memory) , but you do need to install and configure freeTDS on the webserver. Regards, Paul
