Turn it off and see what happens to the process. I consider this 
indecent exposure. The problem is not only whether the user has 
javascript turned on or off, but also, what happens when you get the 
slightest browser incompatibility.

The web was not designed for fancy schmancy stuff. It was designed to 
share simple, structured text  that any monkey could learn. The fact 
that it works at all is a miracle and what we've got today, really, 
is just high-tech hay-wire.

Stick to your roots, like Momma learned ya, and you'll do just fine :)
