There is also Zend Core, a free download from Zend, that is a bundle of Apache, MySQL, some other database drivers and the like.
And if you're doing more hardcore development, you can download Zend Platform, and get a free development license.

Can anyone tell me if you use Zend, do you have apache and a database
installed locally so you can completely test your code?
I should start using a real IDE/RAD but I don't know anything about
installing Apache or MySQL locally.
Thanks,
Nan

I'm using Zend 6 now, and couldn't be happier. Definitely the best version
of Zend yet! More responsive, and better looking UI. Nice integration (as
you'd expect) with Zend Framework. Would definitely recommend. I was
thinking at one stage Komodo, and it's a viable alternative, but I've gotta
recommend Zend 6.

Sweet! Zend 6 looks like it might be worth the money. Am I reading it right
that it is $399? http://www.zend.com/en/store/software/studio/
