[thelist] [OT] Hardware question about RAID...

Many thanks to all!
I opted for:
3ware 9650SE-8ML
8 x 1Tb drives and RAID 6 config...

Plus a dual core CPU and a decent board, 2Gb RAM and ICY DOCK hot swap
bays..

Your advise and words were very helpful!
Now I just gotta load my many 1Tb externals onto it! that'll take forever!!!
