Hello,
 
I'm building a web site presently and I need to know what images I can safely use.  I would like to use photographs of different works of ancient art and architecture, perhaps scanned from a book.  Does anyone know what the rules are concerning this?  Perhaps where I can go to get information?  What images are safe to use?
 
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
