Hi Steven, Thanks for the feedback. I use wordpress personally and am aware of the workflow already built in - very handy. What I haven't been impressed with is the templating. In my experience, the templates are clunky, a bit counterintuitive and difficult to work with, and the software isn't as flexible as a publishing system like Expression Engine. Wordpress has some definite pluses, but still feels like it wants to be a blog no matter what you do to it. Then again, these are only my impressions and I'll definitely take your comments into consideration.
