how were you planning to mix your ANDs and ORs?

or were you thinking the user would simply toggle between ANDs and ORs?

i'm just askin' because the toggle approach is simpler to implement and a 
lot easier to explain to the user (one restricts, the other expands)

mixing ANDs and ORs, though (which is what you google lets you do), well,
that's a whole lot harder to implement in the front end simply -- the
SQL is easy (just use parentheses as appropriate) but the user interaction 
to build it is tricky
